A. O. Smith B2748 Single Speed 2HP Square Flange Threaded Shaft Pool Motor
The AO Smith B748 Pool Pump Motor is a square flange style motor with a 56Y Frame and is a Full Rated 1.5 Horsepower motor. Square Flange motors have a square "face" where the motor mounts to the pump with 4 non-threaded bolt holes to attach the pump and a threaded shaft. Square Flange motors are most commonly used on Pentair Challenger, WhisperFlo, SuperFlo and Pinnacle pumps, Hayward TriStar and Max-Flo II pumps, most Jandy pump. And Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro, Max-E-Glas/Max-E-Glas II, Dura-Glas/Dura-Glas II, Dyna-Pro, Dyna-Glas and Dyna Max pumps. RPM: Single speed - 3450 RPM. Rotation: CCW at Pump End.
