This Century 2 HP electric motor, with a Y56 frame and a 3450 RPM speed, is perfect for replacement Pool Pump motor and a variety of industrial purposes. This motor is often used as a swimming pool pump motor and other continuous duty applications. The motor is an induction/asynchronous type single phase AC, and it is mounted on a plate base. This electric motor is manufactured by Gould and has a B insulation class with a maximum temperature of 266°F. The motor is not rated for IP protection. This came from an air compressor that mostly sat in the garage. Output shaft measures 16mm or 5/8 OD. Removable pulley included is 49mm or approx 2 OD.
